Speed Post has been serving the entire nation along with many international destinations since 1986. It has been leading the domestic express industry from past 20 years with its time bound and express-delivery services. Though speed post charges have always been reasonable, under the new norms, there have been declared new speed post rates.
As per new norms, one can avail local speed post service at INR 12. With the launch of the scheme ‘One India One Rate’, users can now send speed posts at INR 25. With this scheme’s launch and reasonable speed post charges, Speed Post became more popular and started to benefit more of the people from everywhere in the country.

New Rates For Speed Post:
After being revised, new speed post rates became effective from June 11, 2007. Following chart gives charges of speed posts with varying weights and different distances to be covered:

For Upto 50 g:
Local=INR 12. Upto 200 km=INR 25; 201-1000 km= INR 25; 1001-2000 km= INR 25;Above 2000 km=INR 25.
For 51-200 g:
Local=INR 20; Upto 200 km=INR 25; 201-1000 km= INR 30; 1001-2000 km= INR 50;Above 2000 km=INR 60.
For 201-500 g:
Local=INR 20; Upto 200 km=INR 40; 201-1000 km= INR 45; 1001-2000 km= INR 70;Above 2000 km=INR 80.
Excess By 500 G Or Thereof:
Local=INR 5; Upto 200 km=INR 7.5; 201-1000 km= INR 15; 1001-2000 km=30;Above 2000 km=INR 40.
Note: For weight upto 50 gram, rates are inclusive of service tax and education cess.
